Steve Ripp
lead Pastor
For over three incredible decades, Pastor Steve and his beloved wife Cindy have been on an extraordinary journey together, sculpting their lives through three distinct fellowships. Their hearts have become a sanctuary for the love of God, and their souls resonate with the joy of fellowship with His people.
Pastor Steve is not your average pastor; he is passionate about this thing called fellowship. It's not just a Sunday morning routine for him; along with his family, the journey has been a whirlwind of high-fives, tearful prayers, and hearty laughter as they've navigated the varied landscapes of these three unique fellowships.
Pastor and his team are not just here to punch the clock and deliver a sermon; their mission is to create a space where Christ isn't just a visitor but the reigning champion in the people's hearts.
"We're not content with a casual acquaintance with His goodness; we're on a mission to spread it like confetti, letting it rain down on everyone we meet."
So, buckle up because our journey is a wild, unpredictable ride, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Here's to three decades of adventure, growth, and an unquenchable love for God's people.

Katie Minkler
office administrator, sound technician
Meet Katie – one of the Office Administrators at Bonney Lake Nazarene and one of the friendly faces (and voices from the sound booth) helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Whether she's answering questions in the office, updating the website, troubleshooting technology, running sound during a service, or somehow locating Pastor's missing glasses yet again, Katie is always happy to jump in wherever she's needed.
When she's not at the church, Katie wears several other hats. She works as a Resource Specialist at Cascade Christian, owns Seeds of Grace Tutoring, and is finishing her degree in Elementary Education. She has a passion for helping children grow in confidence, both academically and spiritually, and believes every child is capable of success with the right encouragement.
Katie and her husband, Ken, our Outreach Director, have been married for 7 years and are raising two energetic boys who keep life exciting. Their family is rarely sitting still, and if they're not at church, you'll likely find them cheering from the sidelines of a soccer field, spending time together outdoors, or tackling the next home project.
Known for her quick wit, healthy dose of sarcasm, love of iced coffee, and ability to keep a dozen balls in the air at once, Katie believes ministry often happens in the little moments—the conversation in the church office, the encouraging email, the perfectly timed joke, or the quiet work no one else notices.
Her favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5–6:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Katie considers it a privilege to serve the Bonney Lake Nazarene family and is grateful for every opportunity to use her gifts to point others to Jesus.

Aja Tracy
children's director
Aja is joyfully married to her high school sweetheart, and together they are raising three wonderful daughters. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and it shines through in the way she pours into children and their walk with Christ. Before stepping into the full-time calling of being a stay-at-home, home school mom, Aja worked in the medical field. That season gave her a heart for service and compassion—qualities she now brings to her ministry with kids.
Aja loves staying active and learning new things, but her greatest passion is finding creative and fun ways to share God’s Word with the next generation. Whether through hands-on activities, storytelling, or worship, she is eager to help kids not just know about Jesus, but to truly know Him personally.
Her heart is simple and powerful: to walk alongside kids as they grow in their faith, teaching them to love God deeply and live boldly for Him. She believes children aren’t just the future of the church—they are a vital part of God’s Kingdom today!
As Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” That’s exactly the spirit Aja brings to our children’s ministry—open arms, a joyful heart, and a deep love for guiding kids toward Jesus.
